Guitar, violin, double bass and accordion will get your heart pumping with swinging rhythms, fiery solos and awe-inspiring technical prowess. Its a family legacy for group leader gypsy Dorado Schmitt, who plays alongside talented sons Samson and Amati and cousins Francko Mehrstein and Gino Roman. Virtuoso Ludovic Beier, who swings like crazy on the accordion and accordina, joins the family. The Django Festival Allstars bring the music to today with their driving rhythms and romantic ballads with new music and some of Djangos favorites. Its the 25th Anniversary of the Django Reinhardt Festival at Birdland, a special night and celebration.
